Reach for those stars…
You start out looking for metal in the trailer park. You don’t find much. Apparently the other jobless bums who live here got a head start on you. You put what little you’ve found in the back of your truck and decide where to go next.
You could try driving to the abandoned warehouse district of the town. Lots of derelict buildings there, you probably could find enough metal to get by. Of course it’s a known haven for that kind of scavenger hunt sort of thing. You better be prepared for trouble.
There’s also driving around on the dirt roads in the nearby wilderness, people often dump stuff out there, but it’s more of a risk of finding enough to make money.
