You run over to the telephone and dial 911 even as you hear him stepping out of the bathroom. He is upon you before they answer and you spin around and smash the phone over his head, the tiny cord tearing out of the wall with your effort.

The bell inside the telephone dings when you connect with the intruders head like some sort of cartoon scene of ciolence. He falls to the ground on his belly, a gaping and bloody wound in the side of his head.

You should probably get out of there.
