Getting into a car with two obviously dangerous men who seem intent on doing you harm is probably not a wise idea; and you smartly choose not to accept the offer of the ride.
Turning on your heel you run from the vehicle as quickley as you can. Behind you you hear one of them getting out of the vehicle to give you chase. You also hear the roar of the car engine and know that outrunning them is not going to be such and easy task on the side of the highway.
You veer to the right, headed for the chainlink fence that seperates the freeway with a wooded area. You jump up with your hands finding hold at the top of the fence. With your feet kicking, you hoist yourself up to the top of the fence when you hear a gun shoot off behind you.
Sparks dance before your face as the bullet ricochets off of the metal fence, thankfully not hitting you in the process. Without further ado you swing your legs over the side of the fence and charge blindly into the wooded area as another gunshot rings out from behind. You stop for breath behind a tree.
"Go after him." You hear the fat man order. Soon after you hear the chink of the chain link fence as it shakes while the smaller man attempts to climb it, followed by squeeling tires as the fat man drives off.
There is no way he knows exactly where you went. He's got to be as lost in these woods as you are. But should you continue to hide under the assumption that he will not find you? Or should you run on and hope to leave him behind?
