You both slide down the secret slide for what seems like ages, whooping and yelling, before you land in turn at the bottom with individual thuds. Far from how you expected, the slide doesn't empty out into the open, but rather into a secret corridor lit by magical Ever-burn torches every few feet on either side. As you (and Devil Boy both, in fact) are admiring the corridor with a "Not too shabby!" look on your face, you hear a yell from the slide behind Devil Boy.

"aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" WHOOMP! And Devil Boy is plastered by Kera!! "What the heaven?!? Where did you come from?" Devil Boy yells.

"Sorry, guys. But I heard you two taking the slide and I knew there was no way in heaven I was going to let you two goofballs have an adventure without me!" Kera says, between coy flits of her eyelashes. You roll your eyes at the ever growing adventure party and have Devil Boy tell Kera what's going on, which he happily obliges. After Devil Boy makes Kera promise to be cool (as if she had to - old crushes can do what they want when they want), Kera is added to the party.

(Interesting side note: Whatever Health damage Devil Boy takes from this point onward is halved, as Kera and Nester end up on the receiving end of some of the hits. Everything else is the same. There's no need to worry about Kera's or Nester's stats, as they tend to take care of themselves. And no, you can't have that same sweet deal. Geez.)

"Come on, you doofs. Follow me," Kera teases.
