(Here's the low-down on battles:
Devil Boy starts with whatever his current Attack, Defense, and Health scores are [You should be keeping track, just in case you forgot.]. Devil Boy always attacks first. Take his Attack number, subtract the enemy's Defense number, and add the answer [In this case, 0] to 6. That's how many sides the die will have that you roll. [This is where you use the Random Die Roller I suggested earlier.] If you roll a 1, the enemy dodges and hits you for Health -1*(Enemy's Attack) [In this case, -1*1=-1.] If you roll a 2 or 3, the enemy has simply dodged or deflected your hit. If you roll a 4 or 5, you hit the enemy for its Health -1*(Your Attack) [This could already vary by what you've done, so you have to know your Attack score here. Sorry.] If you roll a 6 or higher, you hit the enemy for -5*(Your Attack) for a critical hit! If the enemy is still alive, it attacks next and everything I just said flip-flops [obviously] for the enemy. If you have any Special Attacks [You don't yet.], you will be told if they can be used in battle and how they will affect the aforementioned process. Also remember that unless the text specifies, the Health Devil Boy retains at the end of the battle is all he keeps. Don't be a cheat and return him to 100 unless directed to do so.
