You walk silently next to Asahi, waiting for her to tell you whatever's bothering her. You know her well enough by now to know when there's something troubling her. However, sometimes it's better to wait and let Asahi say something in her own time. You never know how she's going to react when you try to talk to her about things.

Finally, Asahi speaks up: "I've been thinking about my mother... I wonder if she's all right."

You frown a little, glancing at Asahi. Typical. Her mother's been really cold for ten years, since the death of her husband. In some ways, you feel that she blames Asahi for his death, which isn't fair - but there you go.

"Maybe she'll be happy if I go to see her?" Asahi wonders.
