War of the Gods
Now that you've eaten, you decide that moving on might be the best idea. Resting could mean that you end up missing an important sign for the whereabouts of your mother. Besides, you are doomed anyway - what point is there in trying to save your strength? Death is inevitable. You may as well do all that you can.
You get up, and start walking. You walk for a long while, until the sky turns silver-grey with the approach of dawn. You are also keeping your sense shields up, hoping, praying, for any sign of your mother.
