Unfortunately, you quite quickly become too exhausted to keep the death curse at bay anymore. As tiredness causes your eyes and limbs to grow heavy, the death curse springs, and finds little more than token resistance.

You fall to the ground even as the light in your eyes dies, and your spirit flees your body.
