"Um... Hello?" you reply out loud, a little cautiously. Just because the owner of the voice seems like they're friendly, it doesn't mean that they actually are.
You still don't remember everything that you're supposed to, but you somehow have the feeling that you have been deceived before. And, right now, you don't know just who you can trust.
-You don't need to speak out loud,- the voice, which now sounds female, tells you. -Just think what you want to say at me.-
You hesitate, still not entirely sure if you can trust or not... You glance around at the trees, almost feeling like you're being watched... -Who are you?- you ask silently.
-I am a tree spirit,- the voice answers. -I am simply making contact with you to let you know that there is no need for you to be on your guard - we will warn you of any danger... Sister...-
You frown, wondering just what this 'tree spirit' means by that.
