You decide that it would be better to run the way that you're going - maybe there will be someone travelling this way who will be able to help you?

You start running along the path, your paws making no sound whatsoever. Behind you, you can hear the sound of the skinners pursuing you. For a moment, it seems like you'll be able to escape them...

But then, you stand on a thorn lying in the middle of the road. It goes into your paw, and you let out a yowl of pain. Within moments, the skinners are on you, and you don't stand a chance against them.
