War of the Gods
You shake your head slightly. "I do not mind which direction we go in," you reply. "I am merely a wanderer - I have no particular destination in mind." Of course, you are searching for your mother - but you have no idea of her possible whereabouts. So while your wanderings might be aimless, your goal is not.
Light nods slowly. "All right," she replies. She starts heading down the forest road, apparently expecting you to follow her, which you do.
While she's not looking at you, you take the chance to bandage up your hands. You don't want to make her feel bad, and she doesn't seem to have noticed your hands yet.
They're painful, but the cuts are across your palms and not your fingers. Besides, Light's sword was clearly clean and sharp, which was a good thing.
As the two of you walk, you realise that you know very little about Light so far, and you have to admit that you are rather curious.
