You consider Light's words for a few moments, since she clearly wants to know what you think. She seems to have enemies after her, and if that's the case, then it might be better to not be out in the open.
"Well, if there are people after you, then perhaps it would be better to keep to the trees?" you suggest. "That is merely my opinion, off course. Please do whatever you wish."
Light nods slowly, and starts heading off towards the trees, apparently expecting you to follow her, which you do. While she's not looking at you, you take the opportunity to bandage your hands. You don't want to take the chance of making her feel guilty about what happened.
The cuts don't appear to be all that serious. They're not very deep, and the bleeding has mostly stopped. You also had enough presence of mind to grab the blade in such a way so it cut your palms rather than your fingers, where it would have caused more damage. They'll close in a few days, but it'll hurt and you'll be severely disabled until then.
As you and Light walk between the trees, you realise that you don't really know much about her, and you can't deny feeling curious.
