You turn to the white cat, and blink as you recognise her aura - it was the winged woman you saw yesterday, about to kill herself!

-So... She found something to live for,- you think. -I'm glad.- You really are - you still feel bad about just leaving her when she was hurting.

You're rather relieved that the cat seems to be more or less unharmed. You eye her body for signs of wounds as you ask, "Are you all right?"

The cat nods slowly. -I managed to get away from them before they could hurt me seriously,- she answers.

"Good," you reply, unsure of whether or not you should tell her that you saw her yesterday - it might not be such a good idea, though.

The cat's body shimmers, like the air above a flame, and she changes back into her human form. You take her shape shifting with ease, since you are used to it due to the fact that you are a Feng Ji.

"Why were those skinners hunting you?" you ask.

The woman shrugs slightly. "I don't know," she admits. "They just... started to chase after me, and I have no idea why."

-The skinners wouldn't have been working together by choice,- you think. -They only work in packs when under the control of dark wizards... Who is this woman?- Clearly, someone wants her dead - but who? And should you really get involved?

"Um... Is it all right if I travel with you for a ways?" the woman asks, breaking into your thoughts. She gives quite a hesitant smile. "It's just that I don't really want to be on my own right now..."

You hesitate, but then smile gently. "I would welcome the company," you reply truthfully, though you are rather surprised by her bluntness.

"Thank you," the woman replies. "My name's Light," she adds.

You place your hands together in front of you, and bow in the manner of your people. "I am Akaihane," you respond.
