War of the Gods
The man blinks, looking rather taken aback by your demand of help. You probably can't blame him - after all, you did attack him.
The man only hesitates a moment, though. He stands up, shielding you with his own body, even as the skinners come into view.
You feel a little awkward sheltering behind someone, but there's not much else you can do. You can't even remember how to use the sword tucked into your belt - if you even learned sword fighting at all, that is.
You feel a strange sense of... something as the man faces the skinners. Some kind of power seems to move through the air.
For some reason, the skinners then simply turn and flee from the man's threat.
Once they are completely out of sight, the man turns to you.
What are you going to do?
