You cannot let them get inside the city. If they do you know that there will be an immense slaughter of these people.

You rush up the steps to the top of the gate and grab a bow and arrow from the corpse of an archer. You're not sure if your aim will suffice, but you have shot a bow before and you feel that you are fairly good at it.

You reach the top of the gate and see that the only men there are dead. Stepping over the dead bodies, you fit an arrow in the bow and pull the string back. You look down at the Anak, aim, and fire.

Your heart sinks as the arrow bounces harmlessly off a giant's broad shield. He doesn't even notice.

The giant crossbowmen do, however, and they pick you off the wall quite quickly.
