The idea of taking a couple of hours out to go to the movies is extremely tempting. However, you know full well that, if you don't look after your twin sister, no one else will. And you can't just abandon her.
You make your way to the bus stop, and just about manage to catch up to the bus. You get on, flash the driver your bus pass, and then sit down in the nearest seat, staring out of the window and trying to get rid of your slight feelings of resentment towards your twin sister.
Because it's not her fault, no matter which way you look at it.
After about ten minutes, the bus stops at the bus stop near to your house. You get off without a word, and then walk up the street to your house. You use your key to unlock the front door, and step inside.
"Hi, Dean," your sister says weakly from the living room.
You step inside to see her lying on the sofa with a blanket over her, brown hair hanging loose and limp over her shoulders. Carlie is shivering a bit, and looks rather pale.
"Hey..." you say softly, crouching down beside the sofa and stroking Carlie's hair gently. "How was your day?"
Carlie shrugs, and, with a frown, you notice that she seems to be really bad. She probably hasn't even had a bath today...
But maybe it's more important to get even a small amount of food and water down her.
However, as you're debating the point, you hear the doorbell ring.
