You get to the edge of the swimming pool, and pull yourself up onto the side. You then remove your goggles and look round, raking a hand through your wet hair.
There's no one there.
You let out a slightly nervous laugh. -Hah. I knew it was nothing.-

Your head darts up, and you look around wildly, still unable to see anyone in plain sight - but someone has to be there. You just heard their voice. Maybe they're hiding...
Or even went into the swimming pool when you got out.
