Hall of Infinite Doors by apotheosis R

You take a running jump up on to the dragon's nose, then carefully sidestep to its right eye. You turn the handle and pull the door-but it seems to be jammed. You keep on pulling and it seems hopeless, but then it slides a bit. Being sure not to fall off the dragon's face, you pull it a final time and are shocked to see pitch black awaiting you. Not knowing what to except, you walk in through the open door into the darkness...

After a while of careful walking you walk straight into a pole, despite feeling your way forward. The pole must be there for a reason, right? Do you climb up it or continue on your path?
