Christian's Castle
It's been almost a year since construction was completed at the castle built on the 20-acre, grassy wooded lot up on the hill. Bought by recent millionaire Joshua Christian, the estate was named Christian's Castle, presumably in regard to the owner.
Little is known about Mr. Christian, although it is rumored that he is a devout Bible-believer, which already made him appear a little crazy to the local populace. For almost a year now, food deliveries would be made to the rear of Christian's Castle and little other activity was noted.
The recent reason you've been so interested in it (other than the novelty of it - "Hey, there's a CASTLE on my block!") is a little more morbid than you'd care to admit. A few friends of yours decided to put their fears behind them and visit Mr. Christian only a week ago. They never returned.
In fact, the last time you saw them (you curse yourself for your timidity), they were standing exactly where you are now... at the castle's immense oaken doors. The iron rings that must serve as knockers are thicker than your forearms and thrice as big around as your head. Honestly, they looked a lot smaller from the bushes where you were originally hiding. Now that you are here, however, you notice a stone tablet above the door (a good ten feet out of your reach) which reads:
"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
You can't help thinking the message probably doesn't apply to you, seeing as how you don't know the author, let alone had kept his word or not denied him. However, it does appear to say that the door IS open, and you do recall your friends going in...
