You grab the rifle and charge the hill. Shots are fired as you charge heroically up the hill taking out soldiers as you go. Then you suddenly heroically explosion. As you turn around you see the machine has been blown up from a rocket. You realize you are now stuck in the 1940's.

After the war, you settle and buy a home. It is now a lonely life you live for you can not have a personal contact with anyone or get involved with anyone for it may have affect on the time paradox in the future where you are supposed to live.

Every now and then you take a walk past your old neighborhood and see you as a child playing in the yard. If you could only tell yourself when you grow older not to charge that hill.
