"Hedwig!," you exclaim. You see that she is overloaded with parcels, struggling just to stay in the air. You quickly unlatch the window and let her in.

"Poor girl," you say as you unload her baggage and feed her a treat, "Go into your cage and don't make a peep. Uncle Vernon says that if he hears you "squaking" once more, he'll take you to the taxidermy."

With that, Hedwig makes haste into her cage and proceeds to eat her treat very, very quietly.

You turn to open the parcels and see that they are... "BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!!!"
