Feast of Darius and Edward

The carriage ride was smooth. Despite Edward's flirtations Darious remained focused on his mission. If he could win Edward's favor then maybe he could get both the gold and the coin necklace.

Once they arrived at the estate Darious was surprised by what he saw. The estate was large with lush gardens and a fountain where a fat lion stood holding a scepter. Darious's belly growled for food as a distant aroma hit his nose.

"Looks like someone is hungry," Edward said as he looked at Darious with interest.

Darious pats his belly and chuckles. "I guess I am."

Edward and Darious were led into a huge banquet room by two plump maids. Edward, of course, flirted with the maids and slapped one of them on the butt. The maid giggled as she kissed Edward on the cheek. Darious raised an eyebrow, seeing that Edward might have been polyamorous or just naturally flirtatious.

Darious's belly growled again as he saw the lavish spread before him. Without pause the two fat men feasted. Darious and Edward both eating without a care. Plate after plate of food was consumed. Within two hours every plate of food had been devoured.

Darious sat back and patted his belly. The fact that he was satisfied to indulge made him excited. His host, Edward grinned as he patted his own belly.

"It's been a long time since I enjoyed a meal with someone as well fed," Edward said.

Darious looked at the coin necklace around Edward's neck. "Who knew that being fat could feel so satisfying. Yet if I may ask who you came upon that coin necklace?"

Edward casually fiddled with the necklace on his neck. "I had someone commission it for me. You see I grew up as an only child. So I really didn't have siblings to look up too. However, I believe that I found a kindred spirit in you, Darious."

"How so?" Darious asked.

"I finally met someone who could enjoy food as much as I do. Besides, you're a captain of a ship no less," Edward said. "With this necklace you could become my brother. Think about it. You could be both a noble and a captain. What do you say Darious?"
